Toscotec starts up Turkey's biggest tissue machine at Essel Kağıt

Essel Kağıt started up the AHEAD 2.2L tissue line supplied by Toscotec on a turnkey basis at its Osmaniye mill in Turkey. The new PM3 line was designed for high-quality tissue production and significantly expands Essel's manufacturing scale.

The machine stands out with its wide working width and high production capacity. The start-up process included engineering, installation, automation, testing and training as part of a complete project management approach.

With the new line, Essel increased its jumbo roll production capacity while strengthening the raw material base for its finished product operations. This structure allows high-volume production while maintaining quality standards.

The Osmaniye investment is a strategic part of Essel's production network in northern and southern Turkey, enabling the company to serve local and international customers with a broader product portfolio.
